The course benefits both future graduates and employers. It will help to prepare students to be competent employees upon graduation, with the ability to make decisions, evaluate current issues in their field and apply new ideas.
As a part of the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies, Experiential Media Research at Work, is designed for fourth-year students in Communication Studies to gain out of classroom, hands-on learning experience and a chance to apply their knowledge and skills to a practical work environment.
Professor MacLennan has been teaching for over fifteen years with experience in the field of communication studies, media studies, history, methodology and interdisciplinary studies. In 2006, Prof. MacLennan was awarded the York University Wide-Teaching Award and has published in numerous research journals and upcoming books. For information on Anne’s projects, click here.
